Today feels like the perfect day to begin something new.
Welcome to my very first blog post!
This morning I opened a package from my Secret Sister in my Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and it completely made my day. There is something so special about knowing someone you’ve never met in person takes the time to think of you and brighten your day.
Inside the package was a beautiful collection of patriotic gifts celebrating America’s 250th anniversary—a tumbler, festive socks, reusable metal straws, a hat, and the sweetest keychain featuring an eagle, the Statue of Liberty, and little patriotic charms.
More than the gifts themselves, it was the thoughtfulness behind them that meant so much.
As someone who loves community, creativity, and meaningful connections, moments like these remind me why I joined Beta Sigma Phi. Sisterhood isn’t just about meetings—it’s about encouraging one another, celebrating life’s little moments, and spreading kindness.
As I begin this blog, I hope to share pieces of my journey with you—my adventures as an author, behind-the-scenes looks at my books, recipes, journaling, faith, coffee shop visits, everyday life, and the people and experiences that inspire me along the way.
If this first post is any indication, I think this is going to be a fun journey.
